Waldie Blacksmith Shop (Milton Historical Society)
The Milton Historical Society is resuming their Monthly Speakers Meeting this week.
On Thursday, September 19th, residents can stop by the Waldie Blacksmith Shop to listen to a presentation by historian Helen Callaway about the history of Kilbride.
The event listing gives you an idea on what to expect:
“You will hear about a store that rivaled Timothy Eaton’s, a Vaudeville sensation, the controversy about the Dakota Mill name, the Powder Mill explosion, the imposter who practiced medicine in Kilbride and more of the rich history of this area.”
It starts at 7:30 p.m.
You can find the Waldie Blacksmith Shop at 16 James Street in Milton.
