Milton’s favourite fish and chips location is closing!
This past week, Heritage Fish & Chips announced that they will officially close on Sunday, September 22nd. The restaurant posted to their Facebook page:
“Dear valued customers,
“It is with mixed emotions that we announce the closing of Heritage Fish and Chips. After 15 wonderful years of serving our community, we have decided to close our doors on Sunday, September 22nd, 2024.
“We are deeply grateful for the trust, support, and love you’ve shown us throughout this journey. Our time together has been filled with countless memories, and we will always cherish the moments we’ve shared.
“Thank you for making Heritage Fish and Chips a special place. We hope to see you once more before we say goodbye.
“With gratitude,
“Your Heritage Fish and Chips Family.”
In 2022, we ran a series called ‘The Best of Milton’. Residents voted and named Heritage Fish and Chips their favourite fish and chips spot in town. They also said it had the best poutine.
We wish the owners and staff of Heritage the best of luck in the future, and hopefully we can stop by for their awesome poutine and fried fish!
