A Burlington man has become the latest local lottery winner!
Luc Martin won $123,556.70 with a Lotto Max second prize in the Friday, August 16th draw.
The consultant considers himself an occasional lottery player. His game of choice is LOTTO MAX, and he uses OLG’s Quick Pick feature to make his selections. The married father of two is now celebrating his first big win!
“I was at the store when I checked my ticket. I was so shocked by the prize amount that I just stood there staring at the screen! I was completely frozen,” recalled the married father of two while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “I had the biggest smile on my face as I called [my wife]. When she answered the phone, I said, ‘I just won!’ She was just as shocked as I was.”
With the win, Martin plans to upgrade his car and share with his children.
The winning ticket was purchased at Shopper’s Drug Mart on Upper Middle Road in Burlington.
