A shooting happened in Burlington Friday morning and the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating.
On Friday, August 23rd, at roughly 2:20 a.m., a series of gunshots were heard in the Alton Village area of Burlington. Police attended and located a parked vehicle on Verdi Street with multiple bullet holes. Fortunately, the vehicle was empty and no one was hurt as a result of the shooting.
Investigators believe this was a targeted shooting, and that there is no broader public threat related to the incident.
No arrests have been made in relation to this investigation.

Residents in the area are also asked to check if they have surveillance or doorbell camera footage of the time period surrounding the shooting.
