Ontario Premier Doug Ford (2020)
Ontario’s Premier is bringing his festival to Milton.
For the first time ever, Ford Fest will take place in our community. It’s typically held in Ford’s riding of Etobicoke, but will be moved to Country Heritage Park this year.
“Two years ago, we were elected on our promise to Get It Done,” says the event listing. “Looking back, it’s remarkable how far we’ve come. Let’s join together to celebrate all we’ve accomplished with our team of All-Stars!”
Attendees can expect a number of dignitaries on hand, including Premier Doug Ford himself and Milton’s MPP Zee Hamid. There will be free hamburgers and hot dogs, with veggie and halal options. Music and free rides are also scheduled.
It begins at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 16th at Country Heritage Park, located at 8560 Tremaine Road.
