One person is in the hospital following a collision in Burlington over the weekend.
On Sunday, August 11th, at roughly 3:52 p.m., the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) responded to a collision at the intersection of Cedar Springs Road and 1 Side Road in Burlington. A silver Infiniti sedan was travelling northbound on Cedar Springs Road and a black Mazda SUV was travelling eastbound on 1 Side Road. The two vehicles collided in the intersection. The passenger of the Infiniti, a 41-year old-Mississauga resident, was transported to an out of region trauma centre with life-altering injuries.
Due to the nature of the injuries, the Collision Reconstruction Unit attended the scene and took carriage of the investigation.
