You ever feel like you’re turning into your parents?
A study found that 27% of people have this fear, and it’s especially true when it comes to your views on travel! People find themselves turning into their father, “the airport dad”, where they arrive early, super prepared, and solely focused on the location of their luggage.
38% of people say they try to avoid turning into their parents, while 25% welcome the comparison.
I’ve always been told I look my mom and act like my dad, with a bit of my Uncle Doug thrown in there to make things interesting. All things considered, I’m pretty okay with being compared to my parents.
Where do you stand? Are you okay if you’re becoming your mom and dad, or is it something that you’re worried about?
Let me know!

GOOD NEWS – Sunisa Lee couldn’t get out of bed in December. Now she has three Olympic medals in Paris
To become an Olympic athlete, you need to have a strong will. That’s especially true for Sunisa Lee. The American gymnast was bedridden in December with a pair of kidney diseases. She believes at one point following the last Olympics, she gained 45 pounds. That’s a lot for the average joe, and it’s even more for a tiny gymnast. Lee managed to fight through it all, and now has three medals at this year’s summer games. “You never know what can happen,” she said. “So just keep reaching for your dreams…” And that is some good news!

According to Variety, Robert Downey Jr. will make upwards of $80 million to portray Doctor Doom… And that’s just for one movie! ‘Avengers: The Doomsday’ is slated for a 2026 release. I cannot wait!
Not so nice? These cities were named the rudest and politest in Canada
How nice are your neighbours? According to a new study, they might not be THAT nice. E-learning platform Preply surveyed more than 1000 people from 44 Canadian cities with the goal of finding the politest and rudest places in the country. Vaughan was officially labelled the rudest, with it receiving an 8.05 out of 10 on the rudeness score. It seems the cities residents are also completely absorbed by their phones, as it ranked the highest on that trait as well. Burlington residents apparently swear the most in Canada, with an average of 15 swear a day are heard from complete strangers. On the flipside, Markham was hailed as the politest city in Canada, posting a sub-3 score on the rudeness scale. Oakville made the top ten in politeness. What do you think? Does this track for you, or should Milton have been a little higher? Which side would you put Milton? Let me know!
Aerosmith retires from touring, citing Steven Tyler’s vocal cord injury
One of the most famous singers on the planet is no longer able to sing to the level he’s comfortable with. Steven Tyler continues to deal with a vocal cord injury, and this has caused Aerosmith to end their retirement tour early. This means they have officially retired from touring altogether. They now join the likes of other classic rock stars such as KISS, Phil Collins, and Ozzy Osbourne in calling it quits recently. If you were looking to see Aerosmith in Toronto in January, expect to see a refund in your account very soon, if not already. End of an era! Just means we need to appreciate Mick Jagger, because that man is still rolling even at 81-years-old. Good for him!
