A local senior citizen is now a millionaire after winning the lottery.
Edward Maj of Oakville won $1 million after matching all seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the July 3rd Lotto 6/49 draw.
It was not shared what Maj plans to do with the money, but it’s likely it will go a long ways in his retirement.
The winning ticket was purchased at Starsky Fine Foods on Dundas Street in Mississauga.
