The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) need help in identifying what’s reported as a “suspicious male.”
On Thursday, July 11th, at roughly 9:35 a.m., an 11-year-old girl was walking her dog at the intersection of Burloak Drive and Stedford Road in Oakville when she was approached by a man exiting the pathway adjoining Burloak Drive and Euston Road. He initiated a brief conversation with the girl regarding her dog before returning to the pathway where he was first observed. The incident is currently being investigated by the HRPS, and although no criminal offence occurred, police are seeking to identify the man.
He is described by the HRPS as:
- Black
- Late 30’s to early 40’s
- Approximately 6’0”, slim build, clean shaven
- Wearing a black hoodie with the hood pulled up, dark blue jeans, and black shoes
