The Town of Milton released the following press release, in relation to storm damage on a number of Town roads, ditches and culverts.
Residents are advised that closures are for safety purposes due to further potential washouts or damaged culverts.
Temporary infrastructure should not be removed, and motorists should not drive in prohibited areas.
Residents are advised that the following roads are impacted:
- Lower Baseline Rd. is impacted in a number of areas, at approximately:
- 2252 Lower Baseline Rd. (east of Regional Rd. 25) – lane closure, yield to traffic
- 1670 Lower Baseline Rd. – lane closure, yield to traffic
- 1035 Lower Baseline Rd. (east of Trafalgar Rd.) – full road closure at 150 m east of Trafalgar Rd. until the culvert can be replaced
- 2nd Line (Nassagaweya) – full road closure 1.7 km north of 15 Side Road until the culvert can be replaced
The Town thanks residents for their patience as repairs are completed to fully reopen roads.
