Local authorities are evaluating the damage and implementing temporary measures to repair affected roads and drainage systems.
Several flooding incidents were reported, with Milton firefighters rescuing drivers and addressing sump pump issues.
The storm also caused a roof leak at our local Walmart, temporarily closing the store.
Halton Region advised residents to report house flooding by calling 311, and remind residents to document the damage for insurance purposes.
