An early morning fire in Cookstown, has forced the closure of a plaza.
An employee followed smoke to the flames inside the Foodland grocery store around 6 o’clock Friday (jul5) morning.
The plaza, located on Queen Street has temporarily closed due to smoke making its way throughout the entire structure.
It will remain closed until an investigation is completed.
There was some damage to the roof of the building… But no injuries.
