Work has started in the Town of Collingwood on the water treatment plant expansion.
The project will help provide additional water for New Tecumseth.
The price tag for the expansion started off at $80 million… but has since escalated to more than $270 million.
63 per cent of the bill is being covered by the Town of New Tecumseth.. as it will enable the town to continue providing water as the town’s population continues to grow.
