Have you ever been to a Disney park?
My wife and I are likely going to Florida next month. The plan is to go to Disney World while we’re there. I’ve never been! Apparently they have a Simpsons part of the park, which has me intrigued.
If you’ve been to a Disney park, what did you see/do?
What do you recommend?
Any tips to take advantage of the trip?
Let me know!

What else did we talk about this morning?
ICYMI – Milton’s outdoor swimming pool is about to open
If you’re looking to cool down, you’ll have to wait a few more days. Milton’s Rotary Park Pool is set to open for the summer on Monday. The pool will be completely cashless this year, with tickets available online or in-person via debit/credit. It’ll have modified hours before opening daily on June Twenty-Ninth.
Daily WTF – Southern California mom defends shopping cart stance after video goes viral
When you’re at the grocery store, what do you with the cart when you’re done? A woman went viral after she posted a video of herself admitted that she will never return a shopping cart after putting the groceries in her car. Many people online scolded her, saying she could leave it at the stay and bring her bags to the car or she could drop the cart off at any of the little cart shelters in the parking lot. The woman has posted a follow-up video, doubling down on her original stance, saying as a mother of young children, she will not leave her children in the car while returning a shopping cart. Many people accepted this response, saying mothers are often targeting by predators in this situation. Where do you stand on this? Let me know!

The hot week continues! It’s all people are talking about this week. Hopefully you’ve stayed inside the last few days, and if you’ve been outside, hopefully you’ve been staying hydrated and safe. Make sure to wear sunscreen and light layers.
Edmonton Oilers force Game 6 with 5-3 win over Florida Panthers
The comeback might be real! Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers managed to get another win last night. That pushes the series to 3-2 for Florida, with game six set for Friday in Alberta. What a run by McDavid this year. He already broke Wayne Gretzky’s playoff assists record, and added to it last night, putting him at 34 assists in 23 games. He also has eight goals, giving him 42 points total, which is 4th all time for single playoff season and just five points back of Gretzky’s record. He’s gotten four points in back-to-back games, so if this series goes to game seven, McDavid could make history. It’d also be one of a handful times in hockey that a team has come back from being down 3-0 in a playoff series. Friday night is now must watch hockey, and potentially, so is Monday. Are you rooting for the Oilers, or are you backing the Panthers this year? Let me know!

Congratulations to Trevor Green! The Milton man is the latest local lottery winner. He won $100,000 in a May Ontario 49 draw. When picking up his cheque, Green said he had to do a double take after seeing the amount he won. His plan is to share the money with his sister and mom. Aren’t they lucky??? His winning ticket was purchased at the Circle K on Steeles Avenue in Milton.
GOOD NEWS – Beloved Runaway Donkey Seen Appearing to Be Leading Herd of Elk After Going Missing 5 Years Ago
A donkey has gone viral after a video showed the animal leading a herd of elk in the wild. Many had questions when seeing them run off together, including the man taking the video. It turns out, the donkey wasn’t always in the wild. It ran off five years ago, was never seen again. All this time later, it appears the donkey has made some friends and is living its best life… And that’s some good news!
Justin Timberlake Arrested and Arraigned on DWI Charges in the Hamptons as Hearing Set for July
Well, all people are talking about today is Justin Timberlake. The former NSYNC member and current pop megastar was arrested this week for a DWI in New York. Reports say no one was injured, which is good news. He’s actually on tour right now! His next show is scheduled for Friday in Chicago, before he’s back in New York next week. It seems like the shows will go on, which will kind of make these must-see. You gotta wonder how that will all go and if he’ll address it. Timberlake is scheduled to appear in court in July. We’ll see if that interferes with the European leg of his tour, and if it does, tough break but that’s what he gets! The man can obviously afford to be driven around in any fashion he’d like, and yet he chose to drive under some sort of influence. Serves him right if this interferes with his tour.
Eating cheese may help you live longer, according to study about well-being
This is the kind of study you’re happy to hear about: eating cheese may help you live longer! The work was done by researchers at a school in China. It was a large-scale study that incorporated 2.3 million people, so a big sample size here. It found that well-being plays a key factor in someone’s longevity of life, and there was actually a substantially high correlation with cheese in-take. Happy live longer, essentially is what it found, but it says that a lot of these happy people also ate a lot of cheese! Considering exercise also helps with mental health, you should probably hit the gym and eat a pizza today. I don’t make the rules, this is just science.
