Milton’s newest school has a name!
The HDSB announced that it would be Cedar Ridge Public School. Details are here.
That got me thinking, though. If you were to name a school in Milton, what would you want to name it? Is there a local person, feature or event that deserves a school named after them?
Let me know!

They pulled up an old metal safe, which contained $100,000 worth of bills. Unfortunately for them, the safe wasn’t sealed enough to protect the money. It’s believed they could still take the money into the treasury and get it all recovered. Imagine going fishing and pulling up $100,000! You could buy anything with that money, including fish!

It looked like a dinosaur leg! Turns out, it was! The discovery led to the recovery of what the Denver Museum of Nature & Science now calls ‘Teen Rex’, which is a rare juvenile T. rex skeleton, one of only a handful in existence. It’s now going on the display later this month. Imagine being 7,8,9,10 years old and finding a T. rex skeleton? That might be better than finding literal gold! And that’s some good news!
