The Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area (DMBIA) is getting things ready for their annual SummerFest event!
Residents can expect great local music, shopping, food and more!
The BMO Stage will showcase eight bands playing a wide range of popular songs and original music guaranteed to get you dancing. Gavin McLeod will deliver the final performance of the evening, starting at 7:00 p.m. Also, the SummerFest Performance Area will feature live music, local bands and interactive demonstrations from local businesses and performers.
There will be 100 vendors and local establishments selling clothing, accessories, food and more at the Vendor Marketplace, sponsored by Scotiabank. They will be joined by a variety of community groups.
For the kids, the DMBIA will have the Kids’ Fun Zone, brought to you by Mattamy Homes. There you will find exciting activities such as inflatables, Lego and Duplo stations, and rock climbing!
For food, there will be outdoor patios and a dedicated Food Truck Zone.
Expect summer photo opportunities and activities at local businesses.
Downtown Milton SummerFest, presented by BMO Financial Group, is happening on Saturday, June 1st, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., along Main Street East. It’s in support of Milton Community Resource Centre.
All Milton Transit rides will be free on the day. Service will also be extended to 8:30 p.m. This applies to Milton Transit conventional fixed-route, OnDemand and Milton Access+ (specialized) services. Route and schedule information is available here.
Main Street East will be closed to vehicles between Brown Street and Fulton Street for the event.
