Applications will soon be open for the Milton Community Fund program!
Every year, the Town of Milton provides funding to not-for-profit organizations who provide artistic, cultural or recreational programs and services that benefit the community.
The fund was established by Milton Council in 2001 to distribute a portion of the funds received from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (Woodbine – Mohawk Park). Since 2001, the Milton Community Fund has distributed more than $7.7 million to a wide range of not-for-profit community organizations. In 2023, Milton Council approved the distribution of $362,564 in grants to support 46 organizations.
Organizations unable to accept funding from the OLG can contact Town staff for more details, as there are alternate funding sources available.
This year’s application process begins on Tuesday, May 21st. Roughly $425,000 is available for 2025. Applications will be accepted until Monday, July 29th, with decisions on funding announced in January 2025.
