There are way too many streaming services!
A lot of people have told me to watch Baby Reindeer on Netflix. My wife and I don’t have the time! I’d like to think we’ll get to it eventually, but we said that about Tiger King and it’s been four years!
We mainly use Disney+. At this point, we don’t even touch our Amazon Prime Video, and then you have Apple TV+, Crave, Paramount+ – then there’s all the free ones.
How many streaming services do you have?
Which ones do you use the most?
Let me know!

There will be an opening ceremony, followed by all kinds of family-friendly activities. Volunteers with green thumbs are also invited to prep the garden for the event. It’s set for this Saturday, with the opening ceremony starting just after noon.
Daily WTF – Man buys Cartier earrings for $14 after company posts price error on website
Have you ever taken advantage of a sale that seemed too good to be true? Rogelio Villarreal in Mexico did just that, and he’s running off with quite the deal. Jewelry company Cartier had a listing issue recently when they posted a pair of earrings for $14. Thing is, these earrings were supposed to be listed for $14,000! He actually ordered two of them and said he broke out in a cold sweat during the whole process. After a bit of back and forth with the company, in which they tried to offer the man compensation, he finally got his earrings. Just in time for Mother’s Day – I’m sure his siblings hate him right now.
Daily Did You Know – New Halton Police station coming to Hornby
Construction is underway at the corner of Steeles and Sixth Line in Hornby as the Halton Police will be getting a brand new police station. This one is expected to replace the current one that’s located right next to the Milton Mall. This new police station will be ready by 2026, and will serve both Milton and Halton Hills.
Shakira shouldn’t be subject of another probe into her taxes, Spanish prosecutors say
It seems as though Shakira will be getting off scot-free as the prosecutors going up against her in Spanish court have changed their minds. They originally alleged that Shakira owed millions in tax dollars, which the singer had denied any wrongdoing. Now, years following the original report, it seems they agree with her, and are moving to drop the case entirely. The prosecutors say there isn’t enough evidence to move forward and another probe into her taxes is unnecessary. It appears as though, yes, her hips do not lie.
A $100k Banksy to be sold for $500 among 299 imitations in new Banksy-related stunt
World famous artist Banksy is making headline news after a stunt relating to his art was announced. A group will be putting a Banksy art-piece worth $100,000 for sale. Thing is, it will also be sold alongside 299 imitations. The 300 total pieces will go for $500 a piece. That means you’d have a .33% chance at buying a real Bansky for just $500. The buyers will be chosen at random from the groups mail list. The sale is happening this summer, so you have a few months to put your name into the hat. I will maintain my stance that the art industry is one big money laundering scam and you can’t convince me otherwise.
Is This the Most Boring Man in the World?
Would you like to see the most boring video of all time? A video from 1989 has gone viral this week as people have discovered it helps them go to sleep. It features a man named Randy Smith as for two-straight uninterrupted hours he walks you through an early edition of Microsoft Word. He’s the expert on this software, apparently. I will say, I watched some of the video, and while the material itself is boring, my guy Randy does a fine job presenting it. It’s all one-take, for two straight hours, and he clearly knows his stuff. Did it put me to sleep? Yes, but that’s not his fault. If you’d like to view it for yourself, watch it! Warning – don’t watch this at work. You will definitely get in trouble for snoring at the office.
GOOD NEWS – 91-year-old donates $500,000 to rural volunteer fire department
A 91-year-old man is making sure a rural Georgia volunteer fire department has access to everything they need. Sam Sloan made a donation of $500,000 to help the team of volunteers. He says the reason why he made such a massive donation is that he’s lived in the community for more than 60 years and enjoys helping out where he can. Sloan added that while he doesn’t know how to fix their trucks or any of their equipment personally, he knows how to make a dollar. And for the Henry County volunteer fire department, that’s a good thing.
New ‘The Office’ Series Picked Up, First Plot Details Revealed
It’s officially official: The Office will finally be getting a spin-off series, and this time, it won’t be about selling paper… Well, actually, that’s not true! It’ll just be a different kind of paper being sold. The original US version of The Office saw an office of misfits selling paper at the fictional Dunder Mifflin Paper Company in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Announced this week, this spin-off series will dive into the fictional work lives of the team at a failing newspaper in midwestern America. The fact that it’s being called a spin-off series means it will likely follow the same premise, and in theory, be the same in-universe documentary team that will followed the Scranton-team. Production for the series is set to begin this summer, with a release date not announced. Can’t wait!
