A Burlington grandmother is the latest local lottery winner!
Melvina Thomas won $50,000 in the Saturday, April 20th Daily Keno Midday draw.
The 59-year-old says it’s an amazing feeling to experience her first big win.
“I thought, OMG! This is so great!” While at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings, Melvina shared that she kept the news of her win secret until now.
She plans to use her winnings to pay bills.
The winning ticket was purchased at Becker’s on Upper Middle Road in Burlington.
