A traffic stop in Barrie resulted in charges against 2 men, one from Angus.
Monday (ap1) afternoon Barrie Police officers observed two males acting suspicious.
The officers followed the vehicle and pulled the driver over.
A 39-year-old male from Angus, was found to be driving under suspension and was placed under arrest.
The officer observed a gun case on the back seat, it contained a 9mm semi-automatic assault rifle and a fully loaded magazine.
A search of the vehicle turned up two small bags of suspected cocaine, a large quantity of cannabis, fentanyl, methamphetamine, more cocaine and cash.
The passenger, a 25-year-old male from Orillia, was also taken into custody.
Both are facing multiple drug possession, trafficking and firearms related charges.
