The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is looking for the driver of a vehicle who struck a pedestrian in Burlington last night.
On Sunday, March 24th, at roughly 8:32 p.m., the HRPS received word of a collision on Fairview Street in Burlington in the vicinity of the Burlington GO station at 2101 Fairview Street. Initial investigation indicates that a 35 year old man was crossing Fairview when he was struck by a motor vehicle. He sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a trauma center. The vehicle that struck him did not remain on scene.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
Anyone with information about this incident who have not yet spoken with police are asked to call the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 905-825-4747 ext: 5065. Police would also like to speak with anyone driving in the area at the time with dashcam footage.
