100 Women Who Care Milton has announced the date for the second gathering of 2024.
The group gets together to listen to presentations from three local charities. The group then votes and awards one charity with a donation from each member. Traditionally, the donation is $100 per member, but has been done on a ‘donate-what-you-can’ method since the pandemic.
In January, they chose the Lighthouse for Grieving Children and Families as the awarded charity. $6,800 was given to the organization to help local families navigating grief, loss, and change.
On Wednesday, April 10th, they will gather at Milton’s Boston Pizza location at 1085 Maple Avenue. Registration will start at 6:00 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. It’s expected to run for roughly one hour. The Lighthouse for Grieving Children and Families will join the meeting to discuss how their award has been used the last few months.
