Police have charged a 41-year-old driver after traffic was brought to a standstill on the 400 South just after 7 this morning (mar12)..
OPP say the motorist is charged with careless driving after cutting in front of a Southbound transport, causing the collision.
After hitting the small SUV, the tractor trailer crossed the centre median into the northbound lanes and struck a dump truck before ending up in the ditch.
The Southbound lanes of the 400 remain closed between highway 88 and Line 5, while the fully loaded truck is hauled out of the ditch.
