A Campbellville woman is now a millionaire!
Linnea Cain won $1 million in the LOTTO 6/49 Gold Ball Draw on Wednesday, January 10th.
The sales worker has been playing the lottery since she turned 18.
“I kept telling my husband I’m going to win $1 million!” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect her winnings.
She checked her ticket on the OLG app.
“I didn’t have my glasses on so I took a screenshot and zoomed in on the zeroes. I gasped!” says Cain. “I passed my husband the phone and he said, ‘It’s $1 million!’ He came over to me and gave me a hug and a high five.”
They plan to share the win with family, have some fun while creating memories, and save some for the future.
“This win is a humbling experience and a huge blessing. I’m so grateful for this win and what it means for my family.”
The winning ticket was purchased at the Esso gas station on Main Street in Campbellville.
