The Halton Region wants to hear from you!
They are carrying out a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) Study to help make a decision on how best to design a new local bypass road. The plan is to build the ‘Norval West Bypass’, as well as upgrade 10 Side Road from Tenth Line to Adamson Street/Winston Churchill Boulevard in Halton Hills. It would come with active transportation facilities (such as multi-use paths); new intersections (roundabouts) at Highway 7 and 10 Side Road; and landscaping.
A key component of the study is consultation with interested parties (public and review agencies) through Public Information Centres (PIC). The purpose of the first PIC is to review and gather feedback on the study area needs and opportunities, background information, selection of the preferred solution, and next steps in the study.
The Region is now looking for public feedback through an online survey. You can find the survey here. It’s expected to close on Wednesday, February 28th.
