Seven people have been arrested following an investigation in Belleville, including a Milton man.
On Wednesday, January 17th, a search warrant was executed on Airport Parkway by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). The seven accused were located and arrested. Police seized 127 grams of suspected cocaine, one gram of suspected fentanyl, one gram of suspected methamphetamine, $500 in Canadian currency and scales. All seven were taken to the Napanee Detachment.
The following have each been charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine:
- 38-year-old Garrett Jackson of Belleville
- 34-year-old Sarah-Jane Irwin of Belleville
- 25-year-old Tawahennake Hill of Tyendinaga
- 35-year-old Joshua Gjelstad of Napanee
- 23-year-old Aidan George of Milton
- 40-year-old Nicole Burshaw of Cannifton
- 43-year-old Amanda Holland of Tyendinaga
Holland was also charged with:
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Fail to comply with probation order – four counts
All accused were released from custody and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on Thursday, February 15th.
