What are your thoughts on unique baby names?
Models (and married couple) Nara and Lucky Blue Smith have gone viral for their baby names. Nara shared her list of names in a recent TikTok, and has sparked conversation for the names being “out there.”
Girl names include:
- Odie
- Pepper
- Dawn
- Pear
Boy names include:
- Frosty
- Sunny
- Silver
- Zen
It’s worth noting the couple already have two kids with two (admittedly) unique names:

Are you someone who likes unique names – or do you prefer more traditional names?

Daily WTF – ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ issue #1 comic book sells for over $1.3M
Despite what Peter Parker may think at times, it DOES pay to be Spider-Man. The first Spidey issue was sold at an auction recently, bringing the owner $1.3 million. It was a near-flawless copy, and it set the record for the most the edition has ever officially sold for at an auction. It’s about a million dollars off a “fine” copy of an original ‘Superman #1/Action Comics’. With great power comes great responsibility… and sometimes, a million dollars. Read more here…

It’s COLD cold
Plain and simple, it’s cold outside. So cold that Halton Region issued a cold warning. Environment Canada has the wind chill at -28 this morning. Things should warm up over the next few days, and be back close to zero by the weekend. UNTIL THEN, dress warm and stay inside when you can. Read more here…
Woman calls 911 to ask for bank phone number, Peel police say it’s part of a bigger problem
A woman in Peel, seemingly Mississauga, is having her 911 call blasted over the news. Not because it was a horrific call or that anything requiring emergency services even happened, no. What happened is the woman needed the phone number to a bank at Westwood Square Mall. Here’s the call. The woman apologized after being told off by the dispatcher. Funny enough, Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown just recently passed a motion that would issue fines in these kinds of situations. People would be unable to call 911 to complain about traffic or that the drive-thru line at Taco Bell is too long. Hey, what’s an emergency to me and you might be different to someone else… Okay, yeah, it’s bad. Read more here…
A guy is suing multiple women for talking about him in an ‘Are We Dating the Same Guy?’ Facebook group
Fellas, some of you need to treat women better. In case you don’t know, there are Facebook groups set up all around the world that connects women with each other. They will share Tinder/Hinge/Bumble/etc. profiles and ask the group if they are currently or had previously dated this man. Any applicable woman will then share their experiences, good or bad. My wife’s friends are in one of these groups, and they can be BRUTAL. Case in point, Nikko D’Ambrosio of Chicago is taking some of these women to court. He’s suing 27 of them, along with multiple social media platforms, for “false and defamatory statements.” He’s aiming for $75,000 in damages after his image was reportedly DESTROYED in one of these ‘Are We Dating the Same Guy?’ Facebook groups. He was labelled “clingy” and “psycho”. To avoid being added into the lawsuit, I will say, he definitely does NOT give off that vibe. Not one bit, nope. Nuh uh. Good luck, Nikko… Read more here…
Georgetown man plans to invest after winning the lottery
Shoutout to Paulo Dasilva! The Georgetown man and father of one is the latest local to win the lottery. He got $135,738.80 in a November Lotto MAX draw. Right now, the 56-year-old is unsure of what to buy. Good news: he knows he should invest at least SOME of it. That’s a good start. Paulo, if you’re reading this, have you heard of the Bank of Cameron? Very good bank, GREAT reviews. Will definitely keep your money safe. Read more here…
Tom Holland Says He and Zendaya Rewatch Spider-Man to ‘Reminisce’ Together and ‘Relive’ Their ‘Youth’
You know you’re getting old when you start to reminisce about YOUTH. Throwing that game winning touchdown pass or hanging out with your friends in high school or college. You also know that you’re getting old when the “young actors” of those years say they do the same with their old movies. Tom Holland and Zendaya met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming, released in 2017. The two have since been one of Hollywood’s young IT couples. It came out that Holland and Zendaya will spend nights together, watching this movie, and reliving their youth. Good God, I can feel myself turning to dust. Celebrities! They’re just like us. Just richer and prettier. Read more here…
Well done, brother: Hulk Hogan helps rescue teen girl from flipped car
Imagine you’ve just been in a car accident. The car has flipped, there’s debris everywhere, you’re just starting to get your bearings about where you are WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN – Hulk Hogan comes to your rescue. Personally, I would’ve thought I died and this was my brain malfunctioning and short wiring, but for a 17-year-old girl in Tampa, Florida, it was her reality. Hogan said he was driving with his wife and friend when they saw the collision happen. They hopped out and managed to pull the girl from the wreckage. You can’t tell me he didn’t have his WWF theme song playing as this was all going down, I won’t believe otherwise. WHATCHYA GONNA DO BROTHER, WHEN HULKAMANIA SAVES YOU! Read more here…
The significant health benefits of walking backward
TikTok has created a new trend, and apparently, it’s actually beneficial. The claim all over the social media app was that walking backwards on a treadmill can actually help you with your knee pain. Studies back it up, saying it actually does even more for you than just that! The term is ‘Retro Walking’, which just means walking backwards. A March 2021 study found that those who walked backwards on a treadmill for 30 minutes at a time over four weeks increased their balance, walking pace and cardiopulmonary fitness. More studies have shown significant weight loss for those who follow a Retro Walking/Running fitness routine. It even helped with back pain! It’s starting to sound like walking backwards is a VITAL exercise that you should be adding to your workout routine. SO, don’t be alarmed if you start to see more and more people walking backwards on the treadmill at the gym. They’re not the underground people from Jordan Peele’s US, they’re just getting a good sweat. OR THEY ARE THE UNDERGROUND PEOPLE FROM JORDAN PEELE’S US AND IN THAT CASE YOU SHOULD BE WORRIED.
