We have the latest crime map update from the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS).
READ – Halton Police looking for suspects following local break-in thefts
The map details when and where reported crimes took place in Milton. Between Monday, January 8th and Monday, January 15th, there were at least 52 cases of crime took place. Here’s what we found:

Among the 52 potential cases of crime, 16 were theft cases of some kind, 16 were hit and run cases, and two were arson cases.

With the number of theft and theft from vehicle cases, we’ll recycle a message from the HRPS where it encourages residents to implement the following theft prevention tips:
- Ensure your unattended vehicle(s) are locked and secure;
- Never leave spare keys in your vehicle;
- Remove valuables from plain view; and,
- Equip your vehicle with an alarm.
