Work is going ahead on the Beeton Memorial Arena.
Residents may have noticed repairs began over the weekend.
Crews are expected to complete minor truss reinforcements and install a new bracing system.
New Tecumseth Council passed a motion in October of last year (2023) to close the arena to the public on the recommendation of the structural engineer who requested the repairs.
Costs for work are being covered by the Beeton Facility Reserve Fund.
Repairs on the arena is expected to be complete in approximately 3 months.
