The Magical Lights of Milton had a magical holiday season!
Every year, David Geall holds a Christmas lights show at his Milton home, with more than 35,000 lights synchronized to music. That combination creates an animated holiday display for residents to enjoy with their children and families.
This past December marked 14 years for Geall and his annual fundraiser. It raises money for the Milton District Hospital Foundation (MDHF).
Recently, he was able to present his annual donation. With just a few shows to go, Geall presented the MDHF with a cheque of $8,584, which brings his total donation up to $100,584. That surpasses his original goal of $100,000!
Geall told us in November that he’ll continue to hold the event as long as he enjoys doing it. If that means raising more money for the local hospital, then so be it!
If you missed out on the Magical Lights of Milton this year, you can expect it to return this November. It’s held at 876 Willow Avenue in Milton.
