Changes are coming for commuters in the new year.
Metrolinx has announced some minor changes to GO train departure times in Barrie beginning in 2024.
Starting January 6, schedules are being adjusted on the Barrie, Milton and Stouffville train lines.
Weekday trips might leave one minute earlier, or 1 minute later, due to door restrictions at the Maple GO as a result of construction at that station.
Also beginning January 6, UP Express service will increase with the return of late-night service, running until 1 a.m.
The later service means customers will have more travel flexibility, seven days a week.
