The Milton Menace almost led a comeback happen, but they managed to put their foot down in time.
On Thursday, December 8th, the Menace went into the Mayfield Recreation Complex to face the Caledon admirals. It was the third match-up of the season between the two teams, with the first one being a 10-1 win for Milton, and the second a 1-1 tie.
In the first period, Ashtyn Pacheco scored his first goal for the Menace, but fourth goal of the season. It was assisted by Tristan Tremble and Sett Ursomarzo. It was 1-0 Milton after 20-minutes.
Milton then added to their lead when Ursomarzo scored his tenth of the year, assisted by Madden MacDougall and Marcus Tryfon. Later in the period, Aidan Puley got on the scoresheet with his 12th goal. MacDougall and Alexander Siletsky got the apples. The Menace now led 3-0 after two periods of play.
Captain Connor Driscoll made it a four goal game with his 14th of the season. It was assisted by Travis Houle and Graeme Macauley. The Admirals were able to score two goals in third period, but that was all. Milton beat Caledon 4-2.
In net was Ariel Zaslaver. He was able to stop 22 of 24 shots, giving him a .916% save percentage.
