The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has issued an update on this serious investigation.
They are looking to identify two witnesses that were involved in the case. Back on Saturday, October 21st, at roughly 9:00 p.m., an unknown male and female stopped their vehicle in the area of southeast Oakville near the Mississauga border to help a female pedestrian in distress.
These witnesses then drove the female back to her residence and waited with her until contact was made with family. Police are hoping to identify these witnesses and would like to speak to them as part of this investigation.
The witnesses or anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2216.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) needs your help with an investigation in Oakville.
It’s reported that a serious offence took place on the evening of Saturday, October 21st in the area of Winston Park Drive and Plymouth Drive in Oakville. At this time, the HRPS will not disclose any further information on the nature of the investigation.
They are asking for any dash cam footage of Winston Park Drive and the surrounding area on October 21st, between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Investigators would also be interested in hearing from anyone who may have seen something suspicious in the area at that time.
