The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is looking for an unknown suspect connected to a distraction theft case.
Back on Sunday, July 30th at roughly 1:00 p.m., the female victim was shopping at the Fortinos at 2515 Appleby Line in Burlington. An unknown woman approached the victim and engaged her in conversation. It was at this time that an unknown man stole the victim’s wallet from inside her purse.
The victim’s credit card was then used at roughly 1:25 p.m. to purchase prepaid credit cards at the Dollarama at 2435 Appleby Line in Burlington.
Police are looking to identify the male suspect in the image at the top of this article.
