A Burlington man is now a multi-millionaire after winning the lottery last month!
Jaime Rosa won the ONTARIO 49 top prize of $2 million in the Wednesday, September 13th draw.
It’s been a long time coming, as Rosa says he’s been playing the lottery weekly for 20 years. The transportation worker was at the store when and says he thought something was wrong when the clerk checked his ticket.
“They told me OLG would be calling, and I looked down at the printed slip that said I won $2 million – I was trembling!”
He plans to share his win with his wife and children, pay off his mortgage, consider accelerating his retirement, and enjoy some travel.
“My dreams of helping my children are able to come true because of this win.”
The winning ticket was purchased at the Shell Select on Appleby Line in Burlington.
