Now THAT is a win!
The Milton Menace went into Caledon on Thursday night to take on the Admirals. It was the first game ever between the two teams. Milton jumped out to an early lead, with Justin O’Donnell getting on the board at the 5:55 mark, assisted by Sett Ursomarzo. Aidan Puley would score his second goal of the season later in the first, assisted by new captain Connor Driscoll and the newly acquired Graeme Macauley. Before the end of the period, Aidan Taylor would get his first of the season, with help from Travis Houle and Madden MacDougall. It was 3-0 Menace after 20-minutes.
The second period went about the same. Connor Driscoll would get his first goal (assisted by Ivan Fabjan and Owen Kindree). Fabjan would then get his own goal on the powerplay, with help from Puley and Driscoll. Marcus Tryfon would get on the board for the Menace later in the period, with Puley and Fabjan getting the two assists. Ursomarzo made it a seven goal lead before the end of the second. Justin O’Donnell and MacDougall were credited with the assists.
By the time Caledon got on the board, the Menace had scored ten goals. Aidan Taylor, Jayden Levesque, and Sett Ursomarzo would score the three third period Menace goals. Milton won 10-1.
Glen Crandall got the win in net for Milton. He stopped 18 of 19 shots, giving him a .947% save percentage.
Game four of this OJHL regular season will be on Saturday, September 16th. The Menace will take on the Mississauga Chargers at the Port Credit Memorial Arena. Puck drop will be at 7:45 p.m.
The next home game for the Menace is on Wednesday, September 20th against the North York Rangers. Game-time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Milton Menace home tickets for this OJHL season can be found here.
