The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) needs your help in solving a Milton investigation.
On Friday, August 18th, at roughly 2:25 p.m., the victim of a hit-and-run was driving southbound on Guelph Line in Milton when she was struck head-on by a vehicle that was travelling northbound and had crossed over into her lane. The collision caused extensive damage to the victim’s vehicle and EMS was required to attend due to her injuries. The driver of the suspect vehicle did not stop after the collision and was last observed driving northbound on Guelph Line.
The suspect vehicle is described as a black Dodge Ram and the driver is described as a male wearing dark sunglasses. The collision occurred on Guelph Line between Conservation Road and Derry Road West.
The HRPS is asking anyone who may have witnessed the accident, has dash-cam footage or has information about the suspect driver/vehicle to contact Cst. Rebecca Harvey at 905-825-4777 ext 7450.
Investigators would also like to speak to the individual who did stop and assist the victim after the collision but left prior to police arrival.
