In the words of Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth: “Good news, everyone!”
The Town of Milton says the two pedestrian bridges at David Thompson Park have officially opened back up to the public.
Both bridges had been under construction this summer after the Town reported safety concerns.

The Town of Milton is reminding residents that the two pedestrian bridges at David Thompson Park leading to Bell Street are closed.
In a tweet, the Town says this is due to safety concerns. Both will get a full replacement over the next month.
Reopening is expected for the end of August.
It is construction season around Milton, so residents can expect delays all around town. That even includes a street that CN Rail has closed without permission.
All road closures can be found using the Town’s interactive road closure map.
