The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is trying to identify two women reportedly responsible for stealing several pairs of sunglasses.
Back on Monday, July 10th, two suspects entered the Sunglass Hut inside the Mapleview Shopping Centre at 900 Maple Avenue in Burlington. They selected three pairs of sunglasses with a total value of more than $1,000 and concealed them in shopping bags. The women left the store without making any attempt to pay.
The HRPS describe the two as:
- Suspect 1 – Female, 20-30 years old, blonde hair with dark roots, average build, wearing a white shirt with diamond patter, black pants, white sandals and carrying a pink sweater, black shoulder bag and a Lululemon shopping bag.
- Suspect 2 – Female, 20-30 years old, dark hair in a ponytail, average build, wearing a light shirt, dark pants, black running shoes, black cross body bag, carrying a black purse and Zara shopping bag.
