A local young author will be at the Milton Public Library on Monday sharing his second book.
Earlier this year, local elementary school student Liam Wilson published Liam’s Hospital Stay. The book covers his time at the hospital with Cystic Fibrosis. Wilson was just three-weeks-old when he was diagnosed with the disorder. He and his family have been raising money and awareness ever since.
To help promote the book and share his story, while raising awareness for charity, Wilson will be at the MPL’s Main Library on Monday, August 14th. From 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., he’ll be inside the Watson Children’s Program Room, reading the book and holding a question and answer period afterwards. Wilson says he wants his peers to know that hospitals aren’t scary! Both of his books will also be available for sale, with proceeds supporting the Sick Kids Foundation and John Tavares Foundation.
