Police have laid charges in relation to a human trafficking and assault investigation.
Halton Regional Police responded to an assault on August 7 in the Town of Oakville.
The suspect had fled prior to police arrival but through their investigation it was determined that the male suspect was also responsible for the sexual trafficking of the female victim.
On Thursday 38 year old Toronto resident Jahmane Bolton was arrested.
He is facing 13 charges related to trafficking and assault.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims.
