The Milton Public Library (MPL) is prepping for an all-inclusive storytime event next month!
Leading the way will be drag stars Fay Slift and Fluffy Soufflé. The Toronto-based duo has been holding drag storytimes since June 2016. This August, they’ll be hitting the road once again, including stops at all three Milton library branches.
On the MPL website, the Library says:
“[Fay Slift and Fluffy Soufflé]’s special events focus on books, songs and include lots of laughs to show that Reading is FUNdamental! They especially want to support families with LGBTQ2S parent(s) and gender variant children, and read culturally diverse books, by providing a supportive and inclusive environment focused on fun.”

Everyone is welcome to attend any of the three planned events.
The storytime readings will be on Friday, August 4th. You can register here:
- Main Branch (10:15 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.)
- Beaty Branch (10:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.)
- Sherwood Branch (11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.)
