The 54-year-old business owner and mother of three says she has been playing the lottery weekly for years, with this being her first big win!
“It was exciting and surreal,” she recalled, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her win.
Eagleson shared the news with her husband and mother.
“They were both so happy for me,” she smiled. “My mom was ecstatic and said it couldn’t have happened to a nicer person.”
With her winnings, she wants to plan a vacation and support her granddaughter’s future.
“It’s a terrific feeling. This has been an overwhelming and unbelievable experience.”
The winning ticket was purchased at Gore Gifts & Variety on Lakeshore Boulevard in Burlington.
