A Mississauga man has been arrested following an investigation in a downtown Burlington shooting.
In the early morning hours of Saturday, June 24th, Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) officers responded to a shooting in the parking lot of the Port House restaurant in the area of Lakeshore Road and John Street.
Two victims suffered gunshot injuries and were transported to hospital.
On Monday, July 10th, 23-year-old Terrell Urquhart was arrested. He has been charged with the following offences:
- Attempted Murder with a Firearm (two counts)
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
Urquhart was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Investigators are looking for any potential witnesses as they continue to investigate a Burlington shooting that put two people in the hospital last weekend.
Police are seeking anyone with dash or door cam footage from the downtown Burlington area between Lakeshore Road and James Street between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. on Saturday June 24th.
Officers would also be interested in speaking with any Uber or ride sharing drivers who were in the area during those times and may have footage.
No arrests have been made in this investigation.

Two people are in hospital with gunshot injuries following a shooting in Burlington early Saturday morning.
On Saturday, June 24th, at roughly 1:40 a.m., Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) officers and emergency services responded to a parking lot on the south side of Lakeshore Road near John Street in Burlington for a shooting.
There were two male victims. Both sustained gunshot injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital. The first victim, a 25-year-old man, sustained serious injuries. The second victim, a 31-year-old man, sustained minor injuries.
One suspect is believed to have fled on foot. Police are continuing to speak to witnesses and review surveillance images to confirm an accurate description. An update is expected.
Based on existing information, this is believed to be a targeted incident and there is no known or ongoing threat relating to public safety.
Detectives from the Halton Regional Police #3 Criminal Investigations Bureau are investigating and appealing for any witnesses to this event.
