A Milton man has been arrested following a Canada Day weekend stabbing a Milton pub.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says the stabbing happened in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 2nd. It was outside Ivy Arms on Main Street. A victim was stabbed by a then unknown suspect during an altercation and received non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival.
Through an investigation, police were able to identify the suspect. On Monday, July 10th, 26-year-old Joshua Hudson Milton was arrested. He has been charged with:
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Assault with a Weapon
- Breach of Recognizance (two counts)
