Get ready to ‘Sing for a Cause’!
ARC Sing for a Cause has announced its Summer Fundraiser to benefit the Milton District Hospital Foundation. It’s expected to be an evening of fun Karaoke music led by ARC Sing for a Cause singers. The ARC singers will entertain you; but, there will also be an opportunity for others to get up and share their voices too. If you feel like singing some Karaoke, donate $5 minimum for a song. You can also donate to request a song to by sung by one of the ARC Sing for a Cause singers!
“We have been very fortunate to have our community come together and support local charities by volunteering their time, talent and venues,” says event organizer, Robin Read Griffin. “The Rad Brothers Sports Bar and Tap House has come on as our latest Venue Partner and we are very grateful. We would love to connect with other local business owners to discuss the opportunity to become Community Partners for this event too.”
All proceeds from the ARC Sing for a Cause Spring Fundraiser will go directly towards supporting the MDHF. The Foundation raises money for the Milton District Hospital, as federal government funding only covers brick and mortar costs. Donations help purchase things like medical equipment for staff to use.
“Our community is growing and both our patient volume and acuity is increasing,” says Andrea Cayer, Director of Philanthropy for MDHF. ”This means that our hospital requires more equipment and replacement equipment that must be purchased more frequently. Our patients are at the centre of everything that we do but we can’t do it alone. Donations from events such as the ARC Sing for a Cause, make a huge impact as they allow the hospital to purchase priority equipment for the growing Milton community.”
The ARC Sing for a Cause Summer Fundraiser for the Milton District Hospital Foundation is on Monday, August 21st from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at The Rad Brothers Sports Bar and Tap House at 550 Ontario Street South in Milton.
