Canada Day activities in Milton, 2019
Canada Day will be celebrated at the Milton Fairgrounds this weekend!
On Saturday, July 1st, residents can attend the fairgrounds to take in the activities planned for the day. The Halton Agricultural Society’s Canada Day Committee says there will be:
- food trucks;
- interactive games;
- inflatables;
- midway;
- sand pile;
- beer tent; and,
- entertainment for the whole family.
The day will start with the Veteran’s Breakfast at Victoria Park. Starting at 11:00 a.m., residents can enjoy either peameal bacon on a bun or pancakes and sausages for $5 (free for veterans). If it rains, the event will be brought inside Hugh Foster Hall. A parade march will then follow, as it leads to the fairgrounds, arriving at 2:00 p.m. when the gates open at the Milton Fairgrounds. Fireworks are planned for after sunset.
