Back for another year, Milton youth can enjoy the annual Read and Ride program!
This summer, residents aged 16 and under get free access on Milton Transit buses simply by showing their validated library card to the bus driver upon boarding.
The Read and Ride program will run from Saturday, June 24th to Saturday, September 2nd. Transit validation stickers are free and will be available at all Milton Public Library branches. Those interested in participating in the program, are required to place the validation sticker on their Milton Public Library card.
A program kick-off celebration is scheduled for the 24th at the Main Library, located at 1010 Main Street East. It will run from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. The celebration will also signal the start of the Milton Public Library’s TD Summer Reading Club.
Residents are encouraged to attend the free event and take part in games and activities, receive their validation stickers and participate in a scavenger hunt on a Milton Transit bus parked outside the library.
