Three people have been arrested following an armed robbery at a Milton cellular store.
The robbery happened on Friday, June 16th at roughly 8:00 p.m. Three masked suspects entered a Bell store in town. The lone employee was held at gun point with an imitation firearm while the suspects proceeded to steal cellphones and cash. The suspects fled in a stolen vehicle.
A short time later Police located and stopped the vehicle on the Gardiner Expressway. Three suspects were arrested, which included one adult and two youths. All three individuals were held in custody pending a bail hearing. The victim received minor injuries as a result of the altercation. The investigation is ongoing.
The following charges were laid in relation to this incident:
- Robbery with a firearm (x3)
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (x6)
- Use of Imitation Firearm While Committing an Offence (x3)
- Unauthorized possession of a Firearm
