The latest COVID-19 stats for Milton and Halton are now available.
Four additional deaths are shown in the totals. Two were Burlington residents, giving the city 217 total deaths. The other two were Halton Hills residents, giving the town 78 total deaths. Oakville remains at 152 total deaths. Milton remains at 87 total deaths. Halton is now at 534 deaths total from COVID-19.
Across Halton, there are 35 new cases. The total number of cases is up to 59,420. There have been 1,897 total hospitalizations in Halton and 534 deaths.
In Milton, we had 16 new cases. That brings us to 15,202 total cases. There have been 431 total hospitalizations in Milton and 87 deaths.
There are currently two outbreaks reported in Milton:
- Birkdale Place – Retirement Home – Entire Facility
- Martindale Gardens – Retirement Home – Second Floor
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,564,902 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 1,396,338 of the doses were to Halton residents.
